October 2, 2011:
Sheila Paige has been invited by the Northeast Ohio chapter of the Ohio Music Teachers Association to be their featured speaker at their 2011 Fall Conference, taking place at Cleveland State University on October 2, 2011. Her topic for this conference will be "How Motion Affects Sound".
November 4, 2011:
Sheila Paige will be performing a solo recital, Friday night, November 4, 2011 and a master class the following Saturday morning in Cary, NC just outside of Raleigh.
The concert and master class are sponsored by the "Cary-Apex Piano Teachers Association" and in part by a grant from the Cary "Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival," a Cary-based festival supporting local arts and no-profit organizations and activities. This concert will be CAPTA's first to be held in the new Cary Arts Center, the Theater seating approximately 400 people. It is free and open to the public. CAPTA sponsors one concert/masterclass each year. This is their 10th year anniversary and the first one in the new Cary Arts Center.
